Discipleship Unlimited was founded by Linda Strom and her late husband, Dallas, in 1974. Every DU program is designed to lead men and women to salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Discipleship Unlimited’s goal is to transform hearts from the inside out.

The Ministry operates a transitional home for women, Discipleship Unlimited Ranch, as well as multiple faith-based dorms. Both allow women to grow in their faith and live in accountable relationships.

DU also offers weekly programs and yearly outreaches that enrich inmates, including ministry to women on death row and in protective custody.

Discipleship Unlimited remains in close contact with graduates of the faith dorm when they leave prison, striving to ease their reentry and help them reintegrate into society, while maintaining their Christian walk. We call these women alumni.

In 2017, Discipleship Unlimited received the Governor’s Criminal Justice Service Award.
